Most of us struggle with prayer. We forget to pray, and when we remember, we hurry through prayers with hollow words. Our minds drift; our thoughts scatter faster than friends at the end-of-school bell. Our battle with prayer is not entirely our fault. Satan seeks to interrupt our prayers. The devil knows what happens when we talk with God. "Our weapons have power from God that can destroy the enemy's strong places" (2Cor.10:4 NCV). Satan does not shudder or stumble when you walk through church doors. Demons aren't flustered when you read the book.
I’m Clementine H. Collins, R.N., and I have served for more than 30 years in various areas of responsibility through the South Central Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Women’s Ministries.
My passion is to see many people saved into God's kingdom, according to our great commission found inMatthew 28:18-19 (KJV):
“ And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”
